Based in rural Co. Kildare, Ireland, Vanessa comes to jewellery after 20 years in the creative advertising industry. She creates strong graphic designs in silver and gold.
Vanessa firmly believes in a concept first approach when it comes to her collections and then works out how to create, craft and refine each piece.
Using a variety of precious metals and alternative materials, Vanessa combines traditional handcrafted techniques with modern product design to create what she calls 'wearable art'.
The antithesis of Fast Fashion - she uses exclusively recycled materials and her pieces are made to last.
"I design contemporary jewellery not just for its aesthetic, but for the power of meaningful jewellery. Much like a tattoo, my pieces symbolise a personal meaning for the wearer, one from which they can draw strength and that reflects their personality."
