This gorgeous textured wedding ring is made from pure platinum (PT999) rather than the more common PT950 Platinum alloy. Pure platinum is harder than the alloy and is more difficult to shape. The coarse texture on the outside is a result of the hammer blows necessary to form these hefty rings. The contrasting smooth rounded interior hides a perfect little diamond – with its perfect colour (F) and its internally flawless clarity, it is as pure as the metal it is set in to. The substantial heft of the pure platinum adds a certain gravitas to this opulent ring. We think that the pure sentiment behind the material choices and the making process makes this ring an excellent choice for a wedding ring.
